    Outstanding battery - super consistent

Posted by Eric on 2023 Feb 24th

I got this for my stock mobula 7 (20000kv) which I've been flying with GNB 530s, so I'll do a comparison to those batteries. Fiest of all, what a huge difference this battery makes! My GNBs sag by at a full 0.1v on even the gentlest throttle inputs while these bats stay almost completely rock solid. Despite being 2g heavier (tattu - 14g vs GNB - 12g), and not being high volts, I don't need to use nearly as much throttle input to match the same outputs even compared to a fresh GNB. Overall, I feel like this battery has improved the controllability of the quad by making my throttle inputs noticeably more consistent. The top end is about the same, if anything it's a little worse than fresh GNBs, but get slightly better than the GNBs as you get further in to the pack. These are a little thicker than the GNBs and make a very snug fit in the battery tray. This may cause more strain on the frame, but I think it's worth it as they stay on the quad better during crashes. I didn't want to push these batteries too hard since they're fairly expensive so i've only been running them from 4.2V down to 3.4V and easily getting around 3.5 minute flight times doing freestyle. If these are in stock I don't think it's worth considering the 530 GNBs, these Tattus just feel so good to fly with. If they aren't in stock I think you'll still have a great time with the GNBs so don't let this review discourage you.
