Unlock the full potential of your drone with the MicoAir 405v2 Stack. With an optimized size and powerful capabilities, this combination is designed for superior control and maximum performance. Get the most out of every flight with MicoAir.
You can flash Betaflight, INAV, Ardupilot or PX4 firmware if needed.
Open-Source Flight Control Firmware Compatibility: The MicoAir F405v2 Flight Controller supports two popular open-source flight control firmwares - INAV and Ardupilot, offering users a wide range of flight control options and customization capabilities. Firmware updates are easily done through Mission Planner or INAV Configurator.
Pioneering Integration of the BMI088 IMU:The MicoAir F405v2 is the first flight controller to incorporate the BMI088 IMU and be compatible with INAV firmware. This IMU is renowned for its excellent stability, high measurement accuracy, and good vibration resistance. Combined with the ESC's BlueJay 48K firmware to reduce electrical noise interference, it can significantly enhance the positioning accuracy of drones in position mode.
Simplified Installation Process: The MicoAir F405v2 offers 6 UARTs, 10 PWM outputs, I2C, SWD, and USB Type-C interfaces, supporting a wide range of external device connections. All interfaces, including the ESC, utilize socket connections, greatly simplifying the installation process and avoiding the complexity and potential issues of soldering.
High-Performance MOSFET Devices: The ESC uses 40V 165A RDS=1.1mR MOSFET devices, key to enhancing ESC performance. An RDS(ON) as low as 1.1mR means minimal internal resistance during current flow, reducing energy loss, increasing efficiency, and resulting in lower heat generation and better load capacity. Especially during long periods of high load, this significantly lowers failure rates and extends lifespan.
Enhanced FPV Flying Experience: The flight controller's integrated OSD support and VTX compatibility with the DJI O3 Air Unit, along with the ESC's low-noise characteristics, provide a cleaner power supply for the DJI O3 Air Unit, ensuring good EIS effects.
Advantages of Bundle Purchasing: Integrating the flight controller with the ESC not only ensures perfect compatibility between systems but also simplifies the installation process. Additionally, purchasing the bundle offers a more favorable price than buying each component separately, saving costs.
Flexible Installation and Applicability: The compact and lightweight design of the flight controller and the multi-specification fixed mounting hole design of the ESC provide flexible installation options and broad applicability, thus fitting different sizes and types of drone frames.
Firmware
INAV
MicoAir405v2 is officially supported by INAV from version 8.0.0.
You can also download the old version firmware build by us.
Github
Ardupilot
MicoAir405v2 flight controller board is officially supported by Ardupilot starting from version 4.5.0, you can update the firmware through Mission Planner or download all the firmware files(Copter/Heli/Plane/Rover/etc) here:
Also you can use the online firmware builder provided by Ardupilot to customize your firmware for MicoAir405v2:

Specifications(FC)
UART Mapping
RC Input
The default RC input is configured on the UART6_RX inverted from the SBUS pin. Other RC protocols should be applied at other UART port such as UART1 or UART4, and set the protocol to receive RC data: SERIALn_PROTOCOL=23 and change SERIAL6 _Protocol to something other than ’23’
OSD Support
The MicoAir405v2 supports OSD using OSD_TYPE 1 (MAX7456 driver).
VTX Support
The SH1.0-6P connector supports a DJI O3 Air Unit connection. Pin 1 of the connector is 9v so be careful not to connect this to a peripheral requiring 5v.
PWM Output
The MicoAir405v2 supports up to 10 PWM outputs.
Channels 1-8 support DShot.
Channels 1-4 support bi-directional DShot. PWM output share grouped and every group must use the same output protocol:
1,2,5,6 are group 1
3, 4 are group 2
7,8 are group 3
9,10 are in group 4
Battery Monitoring
The board has a internal voltage sensor and connections on the ESC connector for an external current sensor input.
The voltage sensor can handle up to 6S LiPo batteries.
The default battery parameters(for Ardupilot) are:
Compass
The MicoAir405v2 does not have a built-in compass, but you can attach an external compass using I2C on the SDA and SCL connector.
